Canon Point on entering Hauverat:After exiting the room with the others trapped before his death by Licker.
Character Journal:Betrayedher
Background: Spence was an Umbrella Security operative. He along with Alice Abernathy were charged with protecting the entrance to the Hive. They were married though the marriage is revealed to be faked as a cover for the two of them. The two did have romantic feelings for each other. After spying on Alice and hearing that she planned to steal the T-Virus to give to an environmental group to bring down Umbrella Spence waited until Alice was asleep and snuck off to steal it himself. Spence threw a vile of the virus down and infected the entire Hive causing it's computer mind to lock down and kill all the employees she could. Spence made it back to the train to get to the mansion but the security protocols kicked in and knocked him out. Spence is found by Alice, who has amnesia, and the Umbrella team sent to find out what went wrong. After finally gaining his own memories back and being bitten by a zombie Spence abandons the others to die and heads back to the platform. While trying to inject himself with the antidote Spence is attacked and killed by a Licker. Spence then becomes a Zombie himself before being killed by Alice.
Personality:Spence will do whatever it takes to come out on top. When he had to choose between love and money Spence chose to sacrifice the woman he loved to try and make his escape with the virus and anti-virus for money. Spence is fairly devious with loose morals seeming not to care that an entire building full of people were killed so that he could get away with theft. There is a softer side to Spence but it doesn't last long in the face of his own wants and skewed morals. He intended to steal the virus thinking that the money was something that Alice would appreciate
Physical Description:Spence is fairly tall and lean. He keeps himself in excellent physical condition as a security operative and has fast reflexes. He has very dark brown hair and hazelish green eyes. Spence has a small scar on his chin from an accident while training.
